You should see the message "Command could not be completed because an unknown error occurred" when you try to add an entry to your address book. This error indicates a problem with your Netscape Preferences. You need to discard the current preferences:
- From the System Folder, open Preferences.
- Open Netscape Users.
- Drag Netscape Preferences to the Trash.
- Empty Trash.
